Vineyard Women's Ministry Mission Focus

Nestled in the hills above San Jose, Costa Rica lies a place offering hope and second chances to girls rescued from life on the streets. Christ For the City's ministry Renacer, a word meaning "rebirth" in Spanish, is a new home for these teenage girls who come from lives filled with drugs, prostitution, or abusive homes. Renacer gives hope for new lives by sharing the gospel, teaching life skills, and loving on these abused girls. The girls stay at Renacer for about 15-18 months advancing through a program that guides them into decision-making with an eye on their future.

The results have been amazing. They use a very holistic approach providing spiritual, psychological, social, and occupational therapy. Upon graduation from Renacer about 70% of them accept Christ as their savior and never return to the streets.

Your life can be a precious illustration of Christ to girls who have never experienced His love and forgiveness. If you would be interested in our mission trip to Renacer tentatively scheduled for August 3-10, 2013 please click this link to our Missions Department for requirements, classes, and cost for this mission trip.
